  I am very particular when it comes to a good acrylic fill, and I was NOT impressed with the service I received at Kim's Nail Care today. The application was way too thick and lumpy, my technician did not file my nails to the shape I asked, she got the pre-acrylic on my skin (it burns), she missed certain spots with acrylic, the polish application was rushed and sloppy, and to top it all off, the entire fill took AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES-- and would have taken longer had I not bolted out of there the second she finished applying the topcoat. (For those who don't normally get acrylics, a fill should take about one hour.)
  
  Service-wise, my technician was loudly having a conversation with another woman in the back of the salon practically the entire time she was painting my nails. Don't be fooled by the size, location, or apparent constant flow of clients at this place. It is a total mystery to me why this place is everyone in Palo Alto's go-to. There are SO many better places near by.

  I would never go to this nail salon again. They are so rude to their customers even customers that have been going to them for a very long time. Their quality is inconsistent and the owner treats people like she is doing them a favor allowing them to come into her salon. I would be sure to tell all your friends never to go to this nail salon.

  minus stars if i could. Groupon needs,to get a grip! Cancelling Groupon effe tive immediately. Day three of eyelash extensions...day two of excrutiatingly painful eyelash extension removal. I look like I have pink eyes; i've been usi g visine drops in my eyes & aquaphor around my eyes all day.; Huge swollen bags under my eyes,from all the
  rubbing as she tried to remove the extensions; barely any of my original lashes left. DO NOT GO THERE!!

  Charged $50 for a full set stating that it was the going rate for Palo Alto. This did not imclude gel polish. Gel polish was additional $15. We were visiting from out of town. Qualify was poor. Horribly poor. Took forever. 1 week later nails are cracking and lifting. There were 4 of us that had our nails done and none of us are happy with them. Not recommemded. Go somewhere else.
