  First and foremost, get there around 7am-8am if you hope to find parking. Pearson-Arastradero Preserve is great for going on a brisk hike in the morning. It's short enough that you work up a bit of sweat and then go about your other activities when you're done.
  
  Adjacent to the main trail there are other trails on which explore. Also look out for the wild Turkey, Snakes, Bobcats, Quails, and other wildlife. This place is a gem in an otherwise urbanized region.

  Awesome preserve to walk, run and bike! I’ve taken my 2 year old son for hikes around the ‘short’ loop which is right about at his limit so a little challenging. There’s lots of paths and horseback riding too.
